Changes Coming to Georgina Ice
The Georgina Ice would like to announce several organizational changes as we prepare for the upcoming season.
Michael Cornacchia, Paddy Kenny, and Ryan Eccleshall have resigned from the Georgina Ice Board of Directors. We would like to sincerely thank Michael, Paddy, and Ryan for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the organization over the years.
The Board is pleased to welcome Dino Azzano and Mark Edwards, who have been elected to join the Board of Directors.
Joe Cornacchia will continue in his role as President of Hockey Operations.
We would also like to congratulate former Head Coach Jon Perrin, who has been named Head Coach of the Lindsay Muskies of the OJHL. Jon’s leadership and commitment have been invaluable to the Georgina Ice, and we wish him continued success as he advances his coaching career.
The Georgina Ice are pleased to announce that Dave Runge has been named Head Coach for the upcoming season. Joey Abbott will remain with the organization as Goaltending Coach.
As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking volunteers to join our team. We are specifically looking for:
- An individual with an accounting or bookkeeping background to assist with team finances.
- Volunteers to assist with home game operations, including setup before games and teardown afterward.
